"Rooster"

Rooster has been  a  phenomenal dog since he was a puppy coupled with both good looks and talent he was handling factors on marks such as terrain, water and cover at 13 weeks and was pushed out to great distances early.  He is a highly trainable dog with a middle of the road degree of sensitivity and a high level of smarts.  These traits helped Rooster achieve GMPR prior to 2 yrs and his Hunting Retriever championship shortly there after where he was 4 for 4 on that title run. He is a deceiving animal,  exceptionally mild mannered in the house and when in the field he gives 100% perhaps the best off switch we have seen to date, with exceptional line manners and steadiness. He will be  a great match for bitches who may be lacking in manners  in the kennel, at the line or in the house. His top notch marking skills  and trainability are other serious areas he should improve. Rooster has a very good point,  working birds with intelligence and style.  These factors with his hunt and range make him an exceptionally versatile animal.
